At Qassim Mixed Martial Arts we understand your time is valuable and your goals are our priority. We come to train you at your home, office or outdoors.
We also understand that you want a challenging, yet nurturing and safe environment to train in. You do not want a fellow student trying to hurt you just to boost his ego whilst you’re learning. By training one on one with our fully qualified Instructor, your chances of sustaining an injury is diminished greatly. We are also aware that you value your privacy during your training and do not necessarily want an audience watching you.
Private classes are one-to-one, personalised classes that accelerate your learning. It has been proven that people learn faster and better with private classes. People of all ages, body types, and levels of fitness can benefit from private classes which are designed around your specific needs and wants. Let us take the guessing out of your precious time and help you achieve specific results.
A single private lesson is nearly equal to a weeks worth of regular class training if not more. In a class of 20 students for 60 minutes, you are lucky to get 2-3 minutes of attention from the instructor compared to 100% with a personal trainer.
Regular training regardless of your goals requires hundreds of hours of travel time per year which is one of the main reasons people lose focus and motivation especially with a busy lifestyle whether you have business or family commitments. Our objective is to save you time and get you results efficiently so you don't have to fall behind. We are located in Melbourne and will come to you.
WING CHUN KUNG FU

Wing Chun is quick, direct and effective. It is referred to as a middle to short range hand combat system. It is a highly aggressive form of martial art relying on speed, power and technique, with unrelenting attacks, until the opponent is no longer a threat.
The objective of Wing Chun is to hit your enemy as many times as possible without being hit back. To achieve this a Wing Chun Practitioner uses smooth footwork to create angles to open up an enemy’s defence. Speed is essential in Wing Chun, a stylist is taught to block, deflect, evade and then counter with rapid fire strikes, putting the enemy on the back foot. A practitioner of this style attacks with a barrage of machine gun like blows, always looking for gaps in an opponent’s defence.
There are 10 levels to Black Belt starting from White Belt and each level has it's own curriculum. At Qassim Mixed Martial Arts we focus on technique and respect each style or lineage of Wing Chun and Martial Arts. We also believe a practitioner should not be bound by rules and fixed positions as to enable freedom of expression in combat.
TAEKWONDO

Taekwondo is a Korean form of martial arts involving punching and kicking techniques, with emphasis on head-height kicks, spinning jump kicks, and fast kicking techniques. The literal translation for tae kwon do is "kicking", "punching", and "the art or way of".
At Qassim Mixed Martial Arts, the focus of Taekwondo training is for self defence and not sport. Each technique is focused on street combat versus competition training. We are not affiliated with the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF). Our sparring principles enables practitioners to deal with various situations and training environments rather than being in fixed and restricted settings. The Curriculum begins from White Belt through to Black Belt.
BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU

Brazilian JiuJitsu (BJJ) is a self-defence martial art based on grappling, ground fighting, and submission holds. BJJ approaches self-defense by emphasizing taking an opponent to the ground, gaining a dominant position, and using a number of techniques to force them into submission via joint locks or chokeholds. At Qassim Mixed Martial Arts the focus is on Self Defence and not in competition grappling.
SELF DEFENCE PROGRAMS

Our Self Defence programs are customised to each individual's goals and abilities. The programs include self defence techniques from Wing Chun, Taekwondo, Jiu-Jitsu and also techniques from Western Boxing, Wrestling and Judo to give you the best chance to survive a conflict situation and also deal with bullying with effective strategies.
These custom 12 week programs will give a beginner a preview in the traditional martial arts and may interest the individual to begin in either style of Martial Art.
SERVICES
We have different options for you to get started today. Whether you prefer to train one on one, or with a partner to keep you company, we also train small groups to make it more engaging and exciting. We train you according to your choice indoors or outdoors in the convenience of your home and privacy. We also provide online coaching to keep you in track of your training.
